As usual, the programme for this year is full of debates, discussions and exclusives, and not to mention a few big names too. Sara Paretsky will be in conversation with Val McDermid, Ann Cleeves will be appearing with Lisa Gardner, M. C. Beaton will be in conversation with Fred MacAulay and Arnaldur Indridason will be interviewed by Barry Forshaw. There will also be events with Lee Child, Sally Wainwright, S. J. Parris and Ann Widdescombe, an exclusive event around the new book in Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series, plus much more.
Taking place at the Old Swan Hotel on the 16th-19th July, the Theakston’s Crime Festival is not only a great place to see your favourite authors, but also a fantastic way to meet fun and friendly crime fans and to hone your own writing skills in the workshops. And let’s not forget the revelation of the winner of the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award too.
We cannot wait for all the debates, discussions, revealations, exclusives and crime fiction fun to come! You can view the line up and book your tickets on the Official Website.
Jo Nesbo fans can also look forward to a special event at The Old Swan Hotel on the 8th April with The Theakstons Crime Writing Festival. Take a look at our competition page for the chance to win tickets.
