  1. The best moment which had put all of us in confusion and excitement was when Harry and Hermione had a dance in the forest and they hugged each other… indeed a very strong scene!

  2. My favourite moment in Harry Potter is when Dobby gets freed in The Chamber of Secrets. It is such a touching moment, and of course influences the rest of the books, and the Harry Potter story.

  3. My favourite part of the Harry Potter books is when we find out the truth about Snape and Harry finds out that Severus loved Lily. A real “whaaaaaat?!” moment, closely followed by tears! Fantastic books.

  4. My favourite moment is when you see the great hall decorated for Christmas and when Harry realises he has Christmas presents too 🙂 Merry Christmas everyone 🙂

  5. My favourite moment is when Harry, Ron and Hermione first meet – it was the first of many moments I remember my daughter recounting in great detail as she discovered and fell in love with the Harry Potter books (it also meant I could say ‘I told you so!’, because she didn’t believe me when I told her how good they were!!)

  6. I think my favourite moment when reading the HP books when I was young was ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince’ it changed my whole opinion of a character (Snape) I had disliked all along. Such a clever plot twist!

  7. One of my (many) favourite moments was when Harry defended his friendship with Ron to Malfoy when they first arrived at Hogwarts, the start of something wonderful!

  8. I think it’s order of the Phoenix when Harry goes to headquarters and Sirius is sat in the kitchen…its that look between them. I’d share this with my sis as we’re both Potterheads ?

  9. In the books, it’s when Neville wins the house cup for them in book 1. I always loved when he got the credit he deserved.
But the best moments for me were outside of the story. I was 21 when I first started reading them, and my younger brother was in his early teens. I actually read them aloud to him. Even with some of the later books (when we went to midnight releases and I’d bring a flashlight for the car), he’d want to wait for me to read them to him (even though he’s a fast reader and it would kill my voice). It was such a magical bonding time for siblings that would normally be considered too old for such things. I always look back fondly at those sessions.

  10. I love when Harry breaks out of the Dursley’s with the Weasleys in their flying car. You always feel like he can’t get away and his friendship and determination get him out ??

  11. I love the moment when Harry Potter on his eleventh birthday discovers from a mysterious stranger, Rubeus Hagrid, that he is actually a wizard, famous in the Wizarding World for surviving an attack by the evil Lord Voldemort when Harry was only a baby. Voldemort had killed Harry’s parents, but his attack on Harry rebounded leaving only a lightning-bolt scar on Harry’s forehead and rendering Voldemort powerless. Hagrid also reveals to Harry that he has been invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

  12. My favorite moment is when Harry Potter and his friends get onto the platform by walking through a brick wall between platforms 9 and 10. Platform 9¾ to catch the Hogwarts Express. It’ is so magical!

  13. My favourite scene in Harry Potter was when Dumbledore and Voldemort battled in The Order of the Phoenix. I have watched this many times with my sons.

  14. When harry realized what Professor Snape had done for him all them years ” after looking into the pensive…in the last film. I think that touched a lot of peoples hearts as Snape was bullied by Harrys father when he was younger.. yet he still protected him.
