Here we’ve rounded up our winner and four runner-ups to celebrate their incredible creations:
@WHSmith is this worth of a Heston book? It's a cake. And the chips are shortbread pic.twitter.com/h3JKfJt6a4
— Annie B (@BforBobbins) November 21, 2014
Annie wowed us all with her burger cake and shortbread chips. Each piece of the burger is individually stacked with a vanilla sponge bun, chocolate brownie burger and sugarpaste salad. The hours Annie must have spent in the kitchen were certainly worthwhile to create this winning masterpiece. Now if there are any leftovers, we’ll be glad to help you out!

— ✨ Vanessa Cox ✨ (@CoxeeFoxy) November 21, 2014
Vanessa clearly knows her way around the kitchen, submitting a mouth-watering triple layered chocolate cake with popping candy buttercream and home-made lemon, ricotta, spinach & salmon ravioli served with steamed broccoli and freshly grated parmesan alongside her cupcakes. We had to pick her tiramisu cupcakes with creamy frosting as our favourite though. With delicious coffee beans and a dusting of chocolate to garnish, Vanessa is clearly a girl after our hearts.
@WHSmith Here's mine! Clementine filled with clementine sorbet with mint powder and Cointreau basil and berry pearls! pic.twitter.com/9UzMBJ0WbH
— BeanToBarChocolate (@FinnGoulson) November 21, 2014
Just like Heston, Finn likes to experiment with molecular gastronomy to great effect! His clementine filled with clementine sorbet with mint powder and Cointreau basil and berry pearls looks stunning and demonstrates creative flavours to rival Heston himself.
@WHSmith here's mine! A Mac and cheese with a twist! pic.twitter.com/a6AVds0S0v
— Anna Ingram (@childofthe1980s) November 20, 2014
Anna’s mac and cheese with a twist caused quite a stir in the office, with many of us crowding around the screen to ooh, ahh and mmm at the cheesy goodness. Mmm cheesy goodness.
@WHSmith Crab/Salmon cakes, baked squid stuffed with chorizo and pork mince with Cranachan to finish! pic.twitter.com/o4FWvGnKjL
— Graeme (@TheGraetOne) November 20, 2014
You wouldn’t believe it, but this is apparently Graeme’s first attempt at cooking with squid! Including crab/salmon cakes, baked squid stuffed with chorizo and pork mince with cranachan to finish, this is truly the dish of champions. We’ve been told it tastes better than it looks, but we really can’t confirm that without sampling it for ourselves…
Our competition is now closed, but we’d still love to see all your delicious dishes. Share your pictures on our Twitter and swap your top tips with fellow enthusiasts.
