The most basketball slam dunks by a parrot in one minute was 22, and was achieved by Zac the Macaw (USA) in San Jose, California, on 30 December 2011.

2. Fastest Crossing of a Tightrope by a Dog

The fastest crossing of a tightrope by a dog was 18.22 seconds and was achieved by Ozzy (a Border Collie/Kelpie cross) on 1 February 2013 at F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue, Norfolk, UK.

3. Most Tennis Balls Held in the Mouth by a Dog

The world record for the most tennis balls held in the mouth by a dog at one time is five. Augie, a golden retriever owned by the Miller family in Dallas, Texas, USA, successfully gathered and held all five regulation-sized tennis balls on 6 July 2003.

4. Largest Egg From a Living Bird

The largest egg on record weighed 2.589 kg (5 lb 11.36 oz) and was laid by an ostrich (Struthio camelus) at a farm owned by Kerstin and Gunnar Sahlin (Sweden) in Borlänge, Sweden, on 17 May 2008.

The farthest distance skateboarding by a goat was 36 m (118 ft) and was achieved by Happie (USA) of Fort Myers, Florida, USA, on 4 March 2012. The distance was completed in a time of 25 seconds.

7. Fastest Time to Complete 5 Metres on Front Legs by a Dog

The fastest time for a dog to cover 10 m on its hind legs is 6.56 sec and was achieved by “Jiff” (USA) at TOPS Kennels, Grayslake, Illinois, USA on 9 September 2013.

8. Longest Snake – Ever!

The longest snake – ever (captivity) is Medusa, a reticulated python (python reticulatus), and is owned by Full Moon Productions Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. When measured on 12 October 2011, she was found to be 7.67 m (25 ft 2 in) long.

9. The Largest Marine Crustacean

The largest marine crustacean (although not the heaviest) is the taka-ashi-gani or giant spider crab (Macrocheira kaempferi) found off the south-eastern coast of Japan. A specimen with a claw-span of 3.7 m (12 ft 18 in) weighed 18.6 kg (41 lb). The crab has an average body size of 25.4 x 30.5 cm (10 x 12 in) and an average leg span of 2.43 x 2.74 m (8-9 ft).

10. Tallest Living Horse

The tallest living horse is Big Jake, a nine-year-old Belgian Gelding horse, who measured 20 hands 2.75 in (210.19 cm, 82.75 in), without shoes, at Smokey Hollow Farms in Poynette, Wisconsin, USA, on 19 January 2010.
